This healthy apple cider vinaigrette is perfect to dress a salad with or to dip roasted or raw vegetables in. It is slightly tangy, yet sweet, so it pairs well with basically anything.
And while I do not consume meat, Gabe does and said this goes very well with chicken!
This easy fall vinaigrette dressing is simple to make, made with shallots, garlic, apple cider vinegar, maple syrup, olive oil and salt and pepper, it has minimal ingredients and takes only minutes to make. Let me show you how easy it is to make it!
Tips To Make Apple Vinaigrette Dressing:
This recipe is incredibly easy to make! First you roughly chop half of a shallot, and roughly mince some garlic.
Then, you place the chopped vegetables, as well as the additional ingredients, into a blender and blend for 20 seconds! That is it.
It is that simple!

Tips to Store Healthy Vinaigrette Dressing:
This dressing must be stored in an air tight container in the refrigerator. It will last up to 30 days.
If you notice that the top of your dressing has solidified when refrigerated, shake it and allow it to sit out for 5 -10minutes. This will allow it to liquidate.
Substituions For This Healthy Vinaigrette Salad Dressing:
Apple Cider Vinegar– I used Bragg’s Apple Cider Vinegar (ACV). If you do not like ACV, you can substitute regular vinegar.
Olive Oil- if you prefer a different type of oil, such as avocado oil, you may use that instead.
Shallot – You may exclude this completely, or use regular white onion.
Garlic – You may exclude garlic or use a dash of garlic powder in place of it.
Maple Syrup – You may use honey in place of Maple Syrup if you are not vegan.

What Can You Put This Healthy Apple Cider Vinaigrette Dressing On?
The possibilities are endless! I love to top my salad or pasta salad with this dressing. Also, I enjoy putting it on top of roasted vegetables or even raw veggies. I have been told it tastes good on meat as well.
Why make your own healthy dressing?
I know, it is easy to buy dressing when you are at the store, but it is just as easy to make one yourself!
Cost – I always am searching for the cheaper version of things, especially in comparison to how long it will take to make. Yes, I can make a lot of things from scratch, but if it takes me over an hour, is it worth it? It depends. Well, this recipe it totally worth it, as the time it takes to make this is minimum. This recipe takes less than 5 minutes to make, and all of the ingredients are affordable!
Ingredients – Have you ever picked up a bottle of store bought dressing just to see over a dozen of ingredients? Yah, I do not want that in my body. Making your own dressing allows you to control what is in it.
Refined Sugar Free – So many store bought dressings have refined sugar in them! Why?! I am not against sugar, but I do not want it in a dressing. Making your own dressing allows you to control this.
Versatile – If you do not like salt and pepper, don’t add it! Hate olive oil and prefer avocado oil, go for it! Making your own dressing allows you to fit your dressing to your dietary needs (and tastes!).
Eco Friendly- I had to add this one in! Making your dressing at home and storing it in a re-useable container is the best way to cut down on the trash added to the world.
