Is natural skincare of interest to you? If so, you have come to the right spot. This is my 30 day review of using Be Well skincare, an organic and toxic free skincare line made from wholesome, natural ingredients. And although I am an affiliate of Be Well (because I love it so much), this is my honest review.

I recently discovered Be Well from one of my friends/mentors. Be Well prides itself on being made with wholesome, clean ingredients. In fact, its ingredients are so clean, you could actually eat them! One of Be Wells’ core beliefs is that feeding your skin, should be just as important as feeding our bodies.
This immediately triggered my attention, as I am a skincare fanatic, which I will chat about more later on. I ordered the Get Me Started as well as its Replenish Oil Roller, which came within 3 days, whoa! And no, this wasn’t via Amazon Prime, they are just that good. I also received a sample of its Best Deodorant (all natural) and the calming butter.
To get straight to the point, Be Well skincare line WORKS! Within 30 days my skin was brighter, softer and looked freshened up. The surprising part about this is, I thought my skin was already bright, soft and fresh, but boy, was I wrong. Follow along for a more depth review of the products.

I am a skincare fanatic
It is true. Skincare has become something that is SO important to me in the past 2 years. In fact, one of the things Gabe remembers from our first date is me chatting on and on about how important it is to take care of your skin. What a great first date topic, lol.
And yes, of course it is important to many people, but I am not chatting about run of the mill, wash my face with Clean and Clear Morning Burst every morning and afternoon and smack on some face lotion after “fanatic,” I am talking about making conscious decisions throughout my entire day, everyday, that will affect my skin.
I aggressively chug water throughout the day to make sure my skin is hydrated, I will remember to wash my face and remove my make up no matter what is going on (I can be two bottles of prosecco in and forget to change into my pajamas and still wash my face), and I am the girl who covers herself in fake tanner because I avoid the sun and wear sunblock in the winter.
I do not spend money on getting my nails done. I get my hair colored maybe 3-4 times a year. Not because I do not love those things, but, to be completely frank, I do see the necessity of it. I am critical with what I spend money on. One thing I will always spend good money on is skincare.
Honestly, when you think about it, what do you first notice when you meet someone? Their nails? Their hair? Yes, eventually but truly, what do you first look at? Their faces! So having gorgeous, bright skin is important to me.
Your skin is your largest organ, and what you do, or don’t do, will determine who it looks for your entire life.
Follow along my skincare journey
I started taking “care” of my skin when I was probably 12 years old. I had an older sister, so I would use her face wash in the shower. Clean and Clear and St. Ives was our go to. To teenager me, my skin was fine. I would break out during my period, I would have some shine issues on my nose, I would get this weird tough spot under my chin (my sister and I called it my scales, lol).
I could use any skincare line on my skin. I could use any mask. In fact, those fun little paper masks they sell at CVS were my favorite. Anything was fine with me, and my (what I thought) normal skin.
Then, October 2018 came along. I have no clue what happened during this year. I was 28.5 years old, and my skin pulled a 180 on me.
I was travelling to Montreal, Canada, where the temperature is around the same as here in CT. However, it was one of the colder days of the year after a warm summer.
My skin randomly started burning and became flakey. I could not even run water over it without it burning. I thought it was the just the colder temperatures, but I was so wrong.
Months went by, and I continued to have this issue. My face would turn red as a beet after I would wash it, and I would go to bed with it burning on fire. It was even hot to touch. I had NO clue what was going on, and I was quickly trying many drug store skin lines to help me. None provided relief.
So, I started trying some of the bigger players in skincare. The ones sold at fancier stores that cost a little more.
I’ve tried a plethora of skincare, which did not work for my skin. This included: Beauty Counter; Dermalogica; and The Beauty Aid, all companies who pride themselves of sensitive skincare lines. All of which left my skin flakey, burning or I would break out.
Then, I tried Rodan and Fields sensitive skincare line. Finally, I found something that did not cause my skin to burn. But that’s about it. It did not make my skin brighter, it did not remove my pores, and I continued to have my hormonal break outs once a month. Plus, it cost a lot, and I really do not like the whole MLM vibes of it.
Then, I tried Colleen Rothschild skincare line. Now, this line I saw a difference in my skin. My break outs, while they still happened, were less frequent, and my skin was brighter. The one thing I hated about it was the chemicals in it. I cannot even read the ingredients. Gross, that is being absorbed into my body. Plus, it is not cruelty free, which is really important to me.
Then I was introduced to Be Well, and in one short month, my skin has changed for the best, and I do not have to compromise my morals.

My Experience With Be Well
Like I said, I thought my skin was bright, fresh and clean. I was happy with it. I honestly thought it was the best it could be. Boy, was I wrong.
Be Well has improved my skin in ways I did not think was possible. I now have confidence going out and wearing no make up. My freckled face has been clear of any pimples, and my pores have been reduced. My puffy racoon colored under eyes have lightened.
I started with the “Get Me Started” kit from Be Well, in Lavender, as I am allergic to Rose. This kit includes a cleansing oil, probiotic toner, and nourishing face cream. I also received the Replenish Oil Roller for my under eyes. I received a few samples, including its Best Deodorant Spray, and the Calming Butter, plus a few fun flavors of the toners, such as peppermint. I will review each product separately.
Cleansing Oil
I enjoyed the cleansing oil right away. The oil is nice, smooth and relaxing. And I know what you are thinking…”a cleansing oil!? On my face?!” But, trust me, it works.

Be Well explains on it’s website “Oil cleansing simply attaches to impurities in your pores then acts as a vehicle to remove them while replacing your skin with fresh and clean plant oils, without drying the skin or causing excess oil build-up.” Source: Be Well Website.
Using the oil is so simple, you simply rub 1-2 pumps onto your face. It is relaxing, just like a nice mini facial. Then, you place a warm wash cloth on your face for 30-60 seconds and wipe it off. Not rinsing your face off with straight up water is important to me; water to my skin can be a deadly, or should I say, flaky experience.
It also doubles as a makeup remover. That is a time saver in my opinion, especially if I am super tired from the day.
Other key benefits that stand out to me is that it is nourishing, deep cleaning, skin firming, and stimulates cellular turn over while enhancing elasticity (Did I mention I am terrified of a super wrinkle-filled face!? Law school did enough to my glabellar lines).
Probiotic Toner
Let me start off with, I was TERRIFIED to try this toner! I have had such terrible experiences with toners in the past. Adding any wetness to my face causes me to worry because this usually leads to flaking for me.

Luckily, Be Well wins again at this. The probiotic toner does not oversaturate your skin. leaving it exposed to drying out. In fact, it does just the opposite by hydrating your face. I usually spray my face half way through my day, after sitting in front of my computer all morning, to freshen myself up.
The toner also reduces pores, fades dark spots (which, I totally noticed and you can too in my picture), and softened my skin so much!
Be Well also makes super fun scents, such at peppermint, for the seasons!
Nourishing Face Cream
Be Well’s face cream also made me a little worried at first. It is thick. Really thick. I actually think of it more of a balm than a cream. As much as my sensitive, dry skin needs moisture, if it is too thick, I will break out and my pores will hate me.

I am sure you can guess this, but Be Well’s face cream did neither. My skin was soft and hydrated with no pimples or little bumps full of oil.
The trick with this cream is that a small amount goes a longggg way. In fact, Be Well explains to let this soak in for best results, and its true. I put a thin layer onto my skin, wait for my face to naturally warm it up, rub it in a little more, then wait for it to absorb, which happens so quickly.
The face cream has incredible ingredients, just like the others, including cold-pressed coconut oil, rosehip oil, unrefined shea butter, avocado oil, and extra virgin olive oil. Talk about natural!
The face cream is packed with nutrients that aid in anti aging, promotes firmer skin, as well as your natural glow!
Replenish Oil Roller
Guys, this was what I was most excited about! HOLY COW, I think this oil roller is my saving grace in life.
I am of Polish, French Canadian, Irish and Italian descent. My skin does not tan. I am very pale, which means any dark circles show up on my face easily. I can be well rested and still look like a raccoon. I actually used to joke that the dark circles used to bring out the blue in my eyes.
I tried dozens of eye creams to help me with this. Nothing worked. My dark circles were so rough sometimes (especially in the winter!). I used to use the red color correcting stick under my concealer because concealer was not enough.
That was until I started using this oil roller. I really was shocked at how quickly it worked, and how well it worked! Within four days of using this amazing roller, I stopped using my red color correcting stick.
The oil roller is made from 13 super foods, such as Borage oil, Rosehip Oil, Primrose Oil, Camellia Oil, Pomegranate Oil and Argan Oil.
And while this eye roller has helped tremendously with my dark circles, it has also reduced the fine lines around my eyes (which, again, I blame on law school).
The Best Deordorant
Okay, we can call admit that the topic of natural deodorant is as trendy as celery juice. Rightfully so, as deodorant can contain a whole cocktail of disgusting metals and funky ingredients.
There is one thing you need to know about my armpits… they sweat.. A LOT. It is embarrassing. I used to have an RX from my doctor for deodorant because I sweat so much. I would even sweat through sweatshirts.
While sweating was my main issue, I also did smell at times. After a really aggressive spin workout, who wouldn’t.
I used hate deodorant (due to the weird ingredients) so much that I would actually not wear it unless I was going out. Poor Gabe, lol. That was until I tried Be Well’s Best Deodorant sample.
I honestly thought there would be NO WAY Be Well’s Deodorant would work. I am a sweater! I could sweat in 30 degree weather. BUT IT DID!
I used my sample for approximately 4 days and, while I still was sweating during my work outs (which is NORMAL), I was not sweating as much while hanging around the condo, especially cooking in the kitchen. I also did not smell, which was great for everyone.
I loved this award winning natural deodorant so much that I actually ordered the full size ! I will update this blog post after a 30 day use of it!
One question a friend asked, was if whether there is a weird scent of the deodorant, as she tried other big name ones and hated the scent. This deodorant has a nice citrus scent that fades quickly.
Calming Balm
I received a sample of the calming balm, which is so incredibly nice. This is another one I plan to order in the future! It has helped so much with my dry skin this winter, and also dupes as an amazing lip balm. It can be used anywhere and is free of scent!
More About Be Well
The products last well over a month, and with the amount that is left, I believe I will get another 30-45 days out of it.
The bottom of the bottles show the “born” date, demonstrating the products are fresh!

Be Well also sells other skincare products such as detox masks, lip balm and exfoliators. I cannot wait to try them, and I will update this blog post once I do!
Conclusion
I am so happy I found Be Well! It has drastically improved my skin, and I am so much more confident and happy because of it.
The products are clean, full of normal ingredients and super safe for my sensitive skin.
