What makes this Sparkling Blood Orange Gin Cocktail so crave worthy?
I will be honest with you…. I am not the biggest gin fan. Usually, I do not drink it often. I actually have a love/hate relationship with gin, with the majority of it being hate. You will never find me sipping a gin and tonic at the bar. It has to be a REALLY good drink if I do drink gin.
But there is one thing I always love – prosecco. It is crisp, bubbling and gravitate to it over any other cocktail. It is the bottle we prefer when going out, and with covid, staying in.
So, when thinking of a gin drink to make for my blog, I knew I needed to mix it with my one true love (prosecco) to ensure it tasted perfect.
Therefore, you can rest assured that this gin drink is one that can make even the biggest gin hater change their minds. I would never put a gin drink on here that tasted more like Christmas tree juice than anything else.
This drink is perfectly balanced between bubbly, boozy and so delicious. The blood orange and lemon pair well with the gin taste, which is harmonized by the grand marnier. The refreshing prosecco tops it off so well, making this drink so crave worthy.
